Website measurement

We use first-party aggregate statistics to improve this website: public pageview counts, broad referral categories, download-link requests and browser performance rating buckets. We do not create analytics cookies, session identifiers, fingerprints, user journeys or cross-site profiles. Query strings and email access pages are excluded. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals exclude browser measurement. These counts are not unique people and download requests do not prove installations.

Vercel supplies an approximate country code derived from the incoming network request. We retain only country-level counters, never precise locations or an IP address in analytics. Countries with fewer than five observations are grouped with unavailable locations in reports. VPNs, blockers and unsupported browsers affect coverage. Daily aggregate counters expire after 90 days.

Email choices

Only confirmed requests join product email updates. We count confirmed choices and their approximate country in separate aggregate counters; geography is not attached to a subscriber profile or used to target messages. Subscription storage, expiry and deletion details.

Services and essential settings

Vercel hosts the website and processes requests; Upstash/Redis stores aggregate counters and temporary operational data; Resend handles requested email. Provider operational/security logs are separate from our analytics and follow provider retention terms. Statistics are used for site maintenance and improvement, not advertising or sale. We process necessary hosting and security data for our legitimate interest in operating the site, and requested newsletters based on your consent. Your chosen theme is saved locally to apply your preference. The optional download invitation keeps its once-per-page state only in memory. Cloudflare provides DNS and email routing; where enabled, its Turnstile service protects forms from abuse without joining your choices to analytics.

Private reports and product data

Only the operator’s protected dashboard and private weekly reports expose aggregates. Reports never contain subscriber email lists or individual locations. Microsoft Store and GitHub data describe their own distribution channels; they are not linked to website visitors. Small country groups are withheld. Contact us to object to processing or request information about service providers and international transfers.
